The Mosaic Company recently held Contractor Safety Recognition and Awards luncheons in Florida, Louisiana and Saskatchewan to recognize 187 contractors for their outstanding safety performance. Together, our contractors across North American logged close to EIGHT MILLION hours on the job in 2024, constantly working to achieve high workplace safety performance. “As a company, Mosaic’s first priority is the safety and well-being of our people,” said Pat Kane, Vice President, Environmental, Health and Safety. “A safe and healthy work environment is the foundation for our company’s success, and we’re proud to host our Contractor Safety Awards to recognize the outstanding efforts of our contractors in upholding this standard.” Contract partner companies were recognized for their excellence in safety leadership and performance during the year. Those eligible for recognition worked thousands of on-site hours at a Mosaic facility during 2024 and met the established criteria for safety performance — including having no significant incidents or injuries that met or exceeded Mosaic targets, and reporting requirements. Safety recognition was awarded to individual organizations according to the following:
