1962Saskatchewan celebrates the first potash producing underground mine on June 8 in Esterhazy, fondly named K1, then owned by IMC Global. |

1964Kalium Chemicals Ltd. builds the first solution mine in Belle Plaine, near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. |

1967Development of a second underground mine, K2, in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan begins. |
|
1969Central Canada underground mine in Colonsay SK, near Saskatoon, was built. |
|
2004The crop nutrition business of Cargill, Inc. and IMC Global form a new crop nutrition company, The Mosaic Company. |

2009Plans are announced for a new underground mine in Esterhazy named K3. |
|
2011Shaft sinking begins at K3. |

201250 years of mining celebrated in Esterhazy. |

2017February: Mosaic celebrates reaching potash at K3 in Esterhazy SK. |

2018January: Completed the acquisition of Vale Fertilizantes in Brazil. |
